Grapefruit comes in two types – pink and white. The essential oil is very similar. Our pink grapefruit essential oil is cold-pressed from citrus racemosa fruits grown in France.

Common Uses:

Grapefruit essential oil can lift the spirits and combat fatigue. Topically, it is great for oily skin types and acts as a light astringent. Diffuse or apply topically in 2-5% dilution. Can also be added to a facial scrub.

Aromatic Scent:

Grapefruit Pink Essential Oil has a fresh, sweet citrus smell that is very characteristic of the fruit.

History:

The differences between the White and Pink Grapefruits are minor. The difference in cost is simply an example of supply and demand; there is more pink grapefruit produced because it is slightly sweeter than the white variety.

Cautions: 

Grapefruit Essential Oil can cause photosensitivity. 

Avoid use during pregnancy.
